Trump and Meg,

Sitting in D.C.,

K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

First comes love,

Then come the lobbyists!

We’ll all soon be laid off,

Jobless idling hobbyists!

…Yepper-Depper!...

As for me… I need an inexpensive hobby that might even make me a few pesos on the side… I am think, collecting aluminum cans might work.

Hey, can anyone riddle me this? As a laid-off HPE employee… Can I become eligible for re-hire, by renouncing my American citizenship, and living in Mexico, India, or some such?

Color me shocked. The Fox is making the henhouse great again, and didn't punish a fellow fox for its depredations on the hens.

Why don't you try writing to your congressmen about Meg and HPE?

Let's wait to find out if there is any government contract loss in 2017 before we are sure Meg is not bringing her political mess to HPE.

Many of us don't understand why nobody held her accountable for what she and her campaign manager did to HPE.

Sad to say, the answer is "no"; no sanctions on HPE... Trump is doing the usual political fence-straddling by saying, "We need to appoint a commission to study the H-1B thing, and make recommendations on how to protect American workers, yada-yada-yada." He couldn't even be bothered to say, "All companies operating in America, who systematically ban the re-hiring of their laid-off workers... Who black-list their laid-off workers, and then whine and cry about how they just can NOT find suitable American workers, and so, they just MUST have more H-1Bs to stay in business... Such companies will get ZERO H-1B allocations, till such time as they stop discriminating against their laid-off employees.”

Such a simple policy adjustment would simply re-align the H-1B program to what was clearly the original Congressional intent, and it would NAIL Meg and Her Minions… Because HPE discriminates against their laid-off employees! Especially their OLDER laid-off employees, who are the ones who bear a disproportionate percentage of the lay-off numbers…

So WHY didn’t The Donald make this change in policy? Could it possibly be because He is a rich plutocrat, and so (while He SAYS that He’s all for “the little guy”), He is actually looking out for His fellow plutocrats?
