According to the Phoenix business journal "Brent Richardson, who helped build Grand Canyon University to what it is today, has plans to build another non-profit school in the Valley for coding, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence." Has the DC plan fallen through already? How can he be planning to take over the beleaguered edmc schools AND start another college at the same time? Anyone have insights?

How can employees think if this happens all the same programs will stay and be successful. The dream center does not run like this. Everything will be restructured or EDMC is gone. Look at the enrollment folks.
That was my thought, 7-nvk. There's so much going on behind the scenes that we're not allowed to see, but from this vantage point, it sure looks like he's chartering another boat so that when this one sinks, he won't get his feet wet.

Read the writing on the wall. He knows that deal is not going through and he wants to start another non profit right away. Not a big secret. EDMC will close by fall.
