Numbers were about the same as the last layoff.
I was US based and got hit right before Christmas with last day being 12/16. All benefits, including medical and dental ended same day. Was offered COBRA but cost was ridiculously high.
The body count continues to mount. So sad.
Not a lot of details. Pretty hush hush. Dear John letters. Scuttlebutt. I've heard of several so far. Mostly old timers.

Once you are out the door after the two week period you are on your own. I know someone who worked for Charter Communications, one of the perpetually most hated companies in the US. They do 6 months continuation of Medical and Dental and have a 3 month job search period. Sad to see that HPE has sunk below the telecoms in the way they treat their employees (or inventory if you prefer).
Life is Grand and so fair. When will the top executives get there due? Less and less folks working will soon make HPE 100% based ghost company.
