Are driver's that were axed but were rehired facing the axe again. Could potentially happen if Staples is sold.

It's all speculation at this point. Most of us don't believe "it's a good day for Staples" as Shira says, but until we get to see what Sycamore starts changing nobody really had any idea what will happen.
Talk is cheap - so we need to watch what moves they make as this progresses.
Drivers who were stupid enough to come back are now faced with being let go for the final time with the sale of Staples.
There is now way the new ownership group is going to continue with fleet it's to expensive and they will go with UPS.
Yes if a new company buys Staples you can be cut again. They can ship by third party carrier or UPS to save on Fleet cost.
"Ummm...let me help you out (English does not appear to be your native language :-))
"Should HAVE stayed away." :-) (and you wonder why you're one of the ones being let go) :-O"
Let's be honest. Everyone will lose their job eventually. It has no bearing on education or experience. Staples is not sustainable. Only those in the C-suite are guaranteed to make out with money. Even the SVP and VP level may not get a large parachute.
SHOULD OF STAYED AWAY

Some of my friends in CA quit their jobs after they were lured back as drivers. They were convinced after they were told these were jobs here to stay. They went through the stress of losing their job at Staples once and now they are in the same position again.
Well, anyone that went back should have known going in that there was a very strong chance of it only being temporary until they found a cheaper/better way to line the execs pockets.
Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me.
Working in a store our 3rd party .com delivery guy speaks little English, often has to make multiple deliveries a day due to errors and insists on delivering through the rear door even for the smallest package. He will lean on the doorbell for the back door and we have received customer complaints for the noise. We are also very short staffed, so having to run to the back when dealing with multiple customers is a huge pain. The old Staples driver was helpful and efficient.
