Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Hanging on by a thread..

The Intel Worker Bee

Hanging on by a thread.. can't sleep at night, mind full of dread..

hopes of making a difference in the marketplace, promos, college fund for kids and vacation dreams dead..

living paycheck-to-paycheck, slave to BofA 30 year mortgage, can't escape the situation..

no meaning at work, disillusioned by "leadership", managers, co-workers alike.. working 70 hour weeks, no time for vacation..

hanging on by a thread, no more sushi just sliced bread.. should have took the job at ___ instead.

Don't slave away for BK who gave himself a nice raise compared to your 2.5%

Look around and decide you think your gig is good and the company got its future togather? Or better to get your act togather before the next ACT

I will be the first to admit I was naive and assumed if I working hard and doing what was right would be rewarded, but the ACTs were the best thing for me.

For those still slaving away for their 2.5% raise while BK gets 30% and your GM gets 10- 15%. I only tell you don't make the same mistake I did. Do what in your heart you must. If you think Intel has phucked strategy, phucked execution and phucked future, get out before the next ACT. Take control of your life and future.

The ACT was the best thing that happened to me.

Given the current technology situation, cost structure, x86 situation more ACTs are all but certain 😉

Marriage, kids, and a 30 year mortgage aren't just facts of life. Those are all just bad decisions.

Instead of making a victim of yourself, fight back. 😊 😊 😊

It's up-to you how you want to live. Not dictated by your employer.

You are CEO of your life so make the right decisions.

If you were previously offered a job at __ then you can retry and again find another job outside Intel. You are not stuck in the home mortgage, you can sell or rent it out. Life has choices. You can find ways to escape what you want to. Temporarily you can try move into an alternative job at Intel.

It's up-to you to make a decision to change your life and you will. Life is too short for regrets. Even when you fall, you can always rise.

I would rather be hanging by a thread than being an unemployed loser troll like you OP.

2.5% raises

TMG missing every goal the last few years

X86 sales dropping ever quarter

Billions upon billlions of debt

Tick Tock the clock has run out of Moore

Crazy and dumb CEO chasing every fad

Can't imagine being in your twenties or thirties and hoping to grow valuable skills and retire or find another company at this place

Can't wait to see the next ACT
