Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

Advice on Layoffs?

Our company just got acquired by CA. Being an individual contributor working for a manager who doesn't really appreciate my work, what are the signs I should be looking for in terms of impending layoffs. Anyone else here who has been laid off after CA acquisition? How long did it take before they started laying off people?

My experience with a CA Acquisition is they tend to replace the bosses first, but your mileage may vary

layoffs every 3 months; not yearly!

if your not doing your bosses work then you are crap!

If you think you're going to be laid off, then start preparing and look for another job. Nothing you can do about it at this point, if they are looking for people to lay off and your boss doesn't like you.
