Canada only closed about 30 stores and removed a RVP.

Did the close the whole shared services center in SC or just some people?
They need to focus on thinning out the VP ranks. These clowns make big bucks and contribute very little. more often than not they just cloud the waters by pissing in it to mark their territory. They create wasteful "busy work" in the name of "efficiency and productivity" to justify their position.
They could of gotten rid of at least 1 more RVP by consolidating regions in Jan, same with DMs. With all the store closing there is less and less need for all of them. Staples plans to close a min. of 250 stores between now and 2020. That alone is worth 2 RVP positions and 12 DM positions that can be eliminated as well.
