Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

At dystopian Intel career growth is “Soylent Green”. Soylent green reimagined…

“You don’t understand. I’ve got proof. They need proof. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen it happening. They’ve gotta tell people. Tick tock is dying, 10nm is dying. It’s people. Intel career growth is made out of people! They’re making our careers out of people. Next thing they’ll be shipping all our jobs overseas for profits. You gotta tell em. You gotta tell em. You tell everybody. Listen to me! You gotta tell em! Career growth is people!”

No, I mean career growth. Because Intel is not (nor will it ever) grow again, one of the primary purposes of ACT is to create the illusion of growth in order to keep people. x% still get promotions despite flat revenue/profit. But it's all an illusion because the promotions are only possible because old people are sacrificed. It's a near perfect analogy in my opinion.
