Homeshored

Every single employee who works from home will be out of a job. ADP no longer wants employees working from home.

Definitely NOT a rumor on homeshored ppl. Apparently recently (May) many from IL were told to "find a new role in ADP or your last day is 6.30.17"...so they were given the 60day heads up that ADP so kindly provides.

These are not rumors. Yes, there are still ADP associates who are working from home, but not for long.

Promotions may be given, but all home shored workers will be terminated within the next 11 to 14 months. I'm sorry to be so blunt. Please prepare.

Again, these are rumors.

I am home shored and just got a promotion.

True, people are being let go, but there is a direction that ADP is heading and not everyone is going to make it.

Just because you are home shored does not mean you are going to be let go.

It is interesting that while Rodriguez says that they want everyone to work from several central offices, no effort is being made to retain top performers who are home shored. They are simply being let go. So what Rodriguez failed to add is that this is also a good opportunity to get rid of experienced personnel and replace them with cheap unproven new workers who will be filling the jobs being vacated by the experienced personnel.

It's not about trust there was an article I think they were interviewing Carlos Rodriguez and he said they decided it wasn't a good idea anymore to have ees all over the country. That is why they now have the few massive call centers. They are warehousing ees in offices now like all other customer service companies. If they are closing all offices other than the 4 large ones, it makes no sense to them to have us straggly ees all over the country with no office to report to should something happen. Yes we are all going.

Also notice that the PHP reps have title changes now they are all client service analyst and senior customer service analysts. I'm sure it is because they will now be tier two for all the new reps after the get rid of us U.S reps that trained them.

If you are home shored I strongly suggest you be prepared to be terminated (not laid off) at any time. I was laid off from ADP months ago, but they gave me a severance package (my salary, but not my benefits, was continued for 6 months). For new layoffs, to save money, ADP does not provide any severance. In fact, people are not laid off but terminated for "not being productive enough". More savings for ADP!

Even if you work in an ADP office, chances are you will still be terminated and a small fraction of your former salary will be paid to your low cost replacement worker, who apparently "will be productive enough".

Yes, I have the same information on this. That is also my understanding.

I don't know why ADP has made this decision but I suspect that they no longer trust their employees to work from home.
