Does anyone know the total count of EIS employees laid off last Friday? Seems like it is a big secret. I was one of them after 20+ years and would like to know how many went with me.

no not bitter at all-nor that long-just an observation- like McKesson does not pay properly-ask the many lawsuits and losses for such by McKesson over the years- as far as going to India, does not have to- just that McKesson is again lowering the wages, thus, quality. Knowing the technical side allows one to go anywhere doing anything. Knowing the technical side and not the subject is just an accident waiting to happening. Sounds like India reads these posts to me.

That's some bitter commentary there. Let me guess: You were one of the 'highly skilled' that got cut. So 'skilled' that you stayed in the same tech stack for 20+ years. LOL
Anyone with basic sense knows that it's all going to India within the next year. The only reason people are being retained is to ensure that any emergencies that come up get addressed by someone who speaks understandable Engrish. The Remainders are lucky... they get to watch the whole burn.
Do they offer any good packages?
My understanding is, only the original 360 that were forewarned with the exception of a couple more. I suspect more layoffs within EIS will trickle in this week and next.
Not enough for sure and definitely not the higher ups that deserve it. Only low paid, little knowledge employees left.
