I worked at Wind River full-time
Pros
Great technology that will always be needed.
Customers build amazing products using Wind River technology that help make people's lives better, safer, and more secure.
Cons
The not-so-recent acquisition by its current parent has resulted in unsettled direction.
Advice to Management
Current priorities and direction are not leveraging Wind River's traditional core competencies and core technologies.

"No bueno! No fun anymore!"
Former Employee - Account Executive in Alameda, CA

Neutral Outlook
Disapproves of CEO
I worked at Wind River full-time (More than 5 years)
Pros
Wind River used to be a great company to work for, not anymore. I would not recommend working here. Unless, you want to work for Intel or get laid off.
I loved working for Wind River! Loved my coworkers, loved the flexibility and loved going to work everyday. After 5 years of loving my job, Intel decided to absorb Wind River, making everyone's lives miserable. Layoffs, coworkers tattling on one another, etc... is why I left
Cons
Layoffs, low pay and more hours than you would want to work. I do not recommend working here. It isn't fun anymore.
Advice to Management
Your employees are miserable! They're just sitting around scared and waiting for an intel package.
