Thread regarding Automatic Data Processing Inc. layoffs

.

To all current ADP employees, do yourself a favor and start looking for a new job now instead of later.

Company is only keeping five locations open and if you wait till the end it will be harder to find a new job with everyone flooding the job market at the same time.

The people on the Titanic also did not think that they would go down...

Prepare, prepare, and leave on your own terms and not on ADP'S.

For the life of me I don't know why reps are not spreading he word. Some won't listen, there are always the Polly Anna types but people need to know so they can make life changing decisions with knowing they may be unemployed any day. I have been sharing with all reps i can trust, I know it is real because our manager just up and relocated to one of the old locations they are keeping. He is trying to save himself for sure. Funny thing is all of his team are homeshored reps, when we go he is sure to go too.

Unless current employees are already located in the areas of: El Paso, Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando, Norfolk; these existing and in the process of being completed campuses will be the only client service locations remaining after 2019. Between now and then layoffs/office closures will continue every quarter around the country. ADP has not be very interested in employee transfers to main campuses as the logic behind reconstruction is to reduce employee cost in expensive markets and long term liability as in pensions and so on....

Rough ride ahead ADP employee's - good luck!

Don't mean to be rude, but entering the message title would make it easier for us to scroll through the board, plus it would make your messages more visible.

I strongly agree with the previous poster. Be prepared to leave any time. Most everyone is going to be laid off within 1 to 2 years. I suspect the majority will be let go in the next few months.
