Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

If You Signed Over To ATS.... YOU CAN STILL VOTE FOR THE UNION. You Are Not Trapped !

All American workers have the right to organize and form a union. That is your right. It is the law. ATS employees are NOT excluded from this right nor law, despite being owned by a foreign entity. Signing over to ATS DOES NOT FORFEIT your right to join a union. Altice has agreed with the IBEW that ALL eligible employees are allowed to vote in the election, whether you are under the ATS or Altice umbrella. It will be the same union. One union.

So don't believe the B.S. you are being told. No objections or grievances were filed seven days after the announcement of the proposed election date.by Altice to the NLRB concerning the question about whom the union represented. Was it Cablevision? Was it ATS? Or was it Altice?

No objections or grievances were filed.

ALL under one roof. One union.

Therefore, YOU are not screwed.

You can still vote.

You can YOU-nionize.

Whats union going to do?

Thousands more, than being an at will employee @ Altice ATS

What does the police department, fire depart, Professional sports athletes, Power and telephone company employees, Manufacturing companies all have in common. They are employees just like you.

They are UNIONIZED to make sure they are not unfairly and systematically malined by their employers. The Union has helped everyone tremendously over the years to be adequately compensated and respected for the work the employees preform.

Plus can you tell me this. If employees having a union is what they desire for themselves along with paying dues. Why are you and the company so mad and hell bent on bad mouthing the union and those who want the union? Why do you hold impromptu meetings to dissuade employees? Why do you instigate fear of unions and being left behind? The union has never told us these things, to fear our employers or not having a union we would be left behind to rot. So who are the ones actually doing the unfair practices to all of us?

Its YOU and the COMPANY having absolute total control over every aspect of an employee and employment, How when where and to who they talk to, and how they think. Its all about the company making drastic changes anytime with its working policies as they see fit. Employees will not have a say or refute any unfair and unethical practices leveled upon them. Not until their is an uproar and the treat of unionizing, its then the employer suddenly relaxes the rules, until the treat is removed. Then what? It's back to buisness the same as it was before. Its both the companys upper and lower management that has lied and relentlessly undermine us employees our rights for constant parity equality and fairness in the workplace?

The UNION NEVER IS THE THREAT to uou the employees. It's the companys management you work for thats undermining you and your future of employment with them.

Better VOTING YES, YES, YES, YES, NEWARK AND EVERY DEPO IN OUR ALTICE ATS SUDDENLINK FOOTPRINT. LET THE UNION DEAL WITH YOUR EMPLOYERS CONSTANT UNFAIR B.S. It's your future, your right to be protected. They have their highly paid corporate Lawyers protecting them, and never YOU.
