I was working on a project the other day and said for integrity, I don't feel comfortable doing "XYZ". The amount of respect I received for this was greatly appreciated.
I remember working at CCi and how they touted that word, "Integrity". In fact, it was the first word on their eight pillars. Ah...yah!
Just saying.
It's a shame that every Tom, D--k and Harry were using the word "integrity" as an opportunity for them or to their own benefit causing employees to be terminated for misconduct while all along they're the ones that did not know the meaning and/or definition of the word. Employees were turning in other employees for "integrity" and employee relations believed them without further investigation. Just because CCI was not up to par with the definition of "integrity" it does not mean let's terminated all CCI employees when Zenith has no clue what "integrity" is. It's hard to sue ZEG when you're against a big corporation and all you were was a peon. Every time someone gets terminated, everyone jumps up for joy. Everyone still hangs around because they need a pay check.
To 3fkt, That explains a lot. I wondered why they were laying off way more men, who were also conservatives. In the criminal justice area, they got rid of all the ones doing the actual job and were more conservative and kept the liberal women types. They kept some really bad AD's who were women and liberal. Now it makes sense.
As a non-profit Zenith can get into a lot of trouble by being overtly political especially Dem given the party in power. Zenith CEO is a major Dem supporter/advocate.
How many other instructors are being told to talk to your students about liberal policies and how they are so much better for them? Ever since the sell out to ECMC there has been a political push from above to bash conservatives and praise the socialist ideas of the liberals. Are we now a political arm of the Democratic party like most universities are? Apparently this is why Obama forced CCi and other for-profits out of business to get these schools on track with the others in brainwashing students.
I threw my Parthenon trophy in the trash.
