Rumor has it Tuesday, March 7 is Black Tuesday. Alot of people getting terminated in The Woodlands office. Quite a few deadwood managers that should have been cut a long time ago and people that said no to Midland transfer. So much for hard work and loyalty over the years and it all goes down the drain as you are being told to hit the road. Good luck to everyone and best wishes for a decent future employment. Hope they give you a decent severance package that was given 1 year ago.

What in the hell is all of this Tyler County rubbish about? Put up or shut up - no one even knows what you are saying, and it makes zero sense!
Names not allowed here, bro. Check the site rules.
It's really hard to take you seriously when you keep writing incoherent statements in all the boards here.
Anadarko is over. As I have said before anadarko is trying to get out of trouble. The sale of assets is to get out of hands. They never had title/rights to drill. Tyler county, Texas. Austin Chalk. It's public record of pending suit. That's why y'all are looking your Job. Someone owns anadarko 50% interest worth.
I just hope if it happens that the packages are good. The market is still not back so I wish the best to everyone
Well, you're unlikely to find any information elsewhere from APC management. Of course people speculate on this site. The only way to circumvent that is to communicate with the employees, and we all know THAT'S not happening. Who is in charge anyway???
It wasn't that difficult to figure out when layoffs were happening last year, based on a town hall meeting being scheduled for the Monday before the ax fell!
This site pretty much nailed the day of the layoffs last year as I sat in my office in the Granite Tower. People in the know do indeed post here. Guaranteed.
50/50 on the below statement
This site is a bad place to find real information and seems to be for after the fact info. Plus it is a good place for people to vent. No one in the know is ever going to post upcoming events on this site. So for the most part just venting and a place for HR to get the pulse of their employees is this site good for.
No updates here. I guess the cuts didn't happen today?
Getting laid off last March provided the opportunity for me to explore the lost style(and art) of surfskating which I have come to love and embrace. This style of skating involves the low-slung style resembling it's roots of surfing bourne maneuvers and the transgression of those maneuvers to pavement which I practiced in various parking garages and banks at local skateparks during my lunch breaks and after work. I've since moved on to greener pastures, but I do miss my friends and co-workers at APC.
Good luck everyone.
?
Oh Gosh!
Doesn't this usually get done on Thursdays right before payday instead??
Those same deadwood managers are the ones making cut decisions. Protect their realm at all costs and be sure to keep the clones in the aftermath. Core values be damned, full speed ahead!
Wouldn't that be refreshing if management took the brunt of it this time? Unfortunately, I'm sure many were able to negatively impact enough of their employees through the review process to avoid the ax again this time.
But we need the managers to manage the managers that manage the managers, don't we?
Because none of us girls here at the Ole' APC can keep a secret...I hear if you are middle manager in IT, HR or Supply Chain...your days are numbered.
Maybe those same deadwood managers will get the chance they never gave me. My only wish is that they get ball cancer on the same day they're cut.
