Those four executives shouldn't be getting any bonuses. They've done nothing to keep Cabela's competitive during this buyout period. Even the bank failed to meet analyst expectations. Their prize and only prize should be when the deal is consummated. Those bonuses are a slap in the face to every Outfitter that has had to live with the stress of not knowing whether they'll have a job the next day or not and have kept working through this turmoil keeping those executives flush. I don't give a hoot if those bonuses take two years to vest except upon death. The board of directors are messed up in the head. In fact, I challenge each of those executives to refuse those bonuses!

They deserve the bonuses...look what they've had to deal with.
The Bass Pro buyout agreement restricts Cabela's from giving its Executives equity awards so instead Cabela's flipped the script and is giving them cash-based incentive awards in order to reward all of their hard work this past year. Sweet move Cabela's - keep those millions flowing to those who drove the Titanic straight into the iceberg!
