Someone in the below thread asked if I belong to any local. What a retard! The answer is: None. You clearly DON'T read the threads on this website. YOU clearly have no idea of "where my head is at." Unlike yours.... it is obvious where your head is. And with all the stuff going on, this would be YOUR main issue. I am in no union nor represent any. All I do is gather info and try to explain its meaning. I do care in presenting facts and making them available for the one industry I spent 20 years on. For a company that used to be.... and is now gone. For the cool guys I enjoyed working with and the things we did for the good of the company. ALL GONE. But the memories stay. But circumstances have changed. The game arena has changed. The economy is in the toilet. The times have changed. So, if it seems that I care too much for these guys, then that's my bad. It's sad you can't donate the little time you have to help the guys out. Of course, the only exception for you feeling this way would be....... if you're in management. And if you are management, then use this forum for your arguments. Give me your best shot so that all technicians can read how pathetic your caring concerns are. Or, are you more comfortable in a closed-room environment, where rebuttals would be non-existent from a fearful audience? And lastly, heaven forbid, an opponent who might put YOU in your place? The techs are waiting for your best shot. THEY ARE HERE.

When they have no answers @M8nFo5t-hdp they try to entice people into ignorant arguments, thanks to Obee one who has been enlightening the masses with knowledgeable facts. Hopefully they will make informed decisions and not follow the herd into the Ats slaughterhouse.
I find it ironically funny that in the years before I left the company (2014) the talk was about how they wanted to finally phase out using contractors and assign all the truck rolls for the in-house techs. Enter Altice and now it's almost the exact opposite.

To Hahahaha..... You sound sincere but in need of a few corrections. I'm retired and my parents are dead. I used 3 PCs with 4 monitors. Don't smoke nor drink. My problem is that I care. Now it's my turn to ask you a question. If what you say is true, that you busted your butt for 15 years, then why the hell aren't you saying anything relevant, good or bad, about your company? Did they shut you up or are you pleased with your current situation? Or, are you the quiet type, labeling people whom you do not know and second-guessing everything but the air you breathe?
do you plan on continuing your employment as a tech?
if so, do you think it is necessary to take action to ensure that you are able to have a voice when it comes to the terms & conditions of your employment?
