Last year Intel brought in a contractor to walk me and the other ISP people in my office.

The word he was looking for is "pay letter". That is what managers distribute to employees at the end of the Focal season. Essentially at the same time every year. It was no different last year than the year before or the year before. And there cannot be any "push". The pay letter tool for HR opens at a specific time, and there is no way to hand out pay letters early.
Can't wait to see the layoffs extinguish the most recent BK lies.
If you were inside Intel, you should know this timeline and not to ask here.
Actually last year and even the year before, the push was to complete sooner and deliver in March if possible (vs waiting until early/mid April)
Same as every year. If you're not new at Intel or are an AMD or Qualcomm shill, you should know.
They will do so as soon as the layoff target numbers for this year are finalized.
