ECMC is not the same. We have lost our identity. We need a single leader. this group approach isn't working. Decision-making is too slow. Senior leadership is not very friendly.

I like being downtown too. Great office space. Senior management deserves kudos for that decision. I don't think they've made another one since then.
What I like = our benefits, great office setting (yes I love our new digs), people I work with
What I don't like = no known strategy, lack of communication, ineffective senior management

I still work there. Communication is at an all time low. I've lost all confidence in senior leadership. I'm unimpressed with all of them. Even dans humor has grown stale. greg gone for winter. Doesn't matter anyway since he doesn't talk to anyone when he's in office. It's hard to see the deterioration of the company. Massive need for new leadership. Where is board?
I haven't read about ECMC getting any new student loan portfolios since Trump was elected. May be time for a new lobbying firm.
ECMC is a non profit that has paid Podesta lobbying firm hundreds of thousands of dollars. I didn't think non profits could lobby.
ECMC is now nothing more than a collection agency except that they cost the taxpayers more than a private collection agency. Oh and they don't perform as well as a private collection agency.
But we have great benefits. Thank you taxpayers.

Agree about the culture. Not the same.
ECMC and all the other leeches that prey on student loan debt will be out of business by the end of the year. The new DOE is going to return the student loan program back to the private sector. The federal government should never have gotten into the banking business in the first place. Your done living of the tax payers hard earned cash.
