It's karma. They interfered with free enterprise and took choice away from the consumers by banning European dairy chocolate from entering the US in 2015.
Their knee-jerk reaction was NOT to improve themselves when the competition was selling a better product; they just removed them from the competition altogether. They employed an un-American strategy, cheated their competition, robbed the consumers and engaged in rampant hypocrisy.
Hershey's deserve their financial woes for their greed. I hate it for the people who worked for them and their families. But as for Hershey's as a whole, I do not feel the least little bit sorry for them.
Frankly, I hope Hershey's go under and their CEO finds himself eating out of Whataburger garbage bins.
