Thread regarding Automatic Data Processing Inc. layoffs

More closings announced today.

Detroit, Syracuse NY, Maine, RI and NH were notified today that those locations are closing at the end of May. Sad day for everyone.

The closings will continue all year and into next year. Almost ALL employees (ok, "associates") will be laid off. ADP thinks that it's existing employees make too much money and is replacing them with new workers who will earn 30% to 50% of the salary rate of the workers who will be thrown out.

Also, the new workers that are hired will have to work from one of the new offices that are being set up. Working from home will no longer be allowed.

They swept the EAST coast today with notifying "Associates" in the following locations that they are closing the buildings and they will be out of a job as of April 28th 2017. Salem NH, South Portland ME, Natick MA, Windsor CT, Manchester NH, Dearborn MI, Warwick RI, Ft Washington PA & Syracuse NY
