I honestly don't think that it will get any better for HPE. Buying other companies to acquire technology works, as long as you know what to do with it! Remember 3PAR? Compaq? HP ruins everything they touch...it is not the same company that Bill and Dave created. They manage fear into folks real well...

As part of the WFR class of 2016, I was under the illusion that within HPE things always got better. NOT! Meg tells the troops that forced distributions are not happening, meanwhile they are...I am so damn glad to not be a part of that annoyance!!

There is life after HPE! I found out first hand!

After my WFR notice...I had three bonafide offers from major companies in the area within 30 days. I turned down two to work at a startup with no reservations.

Now my every day with this startup company is the following:

1) I literally cannot wait to get into the office each and every day...it is that good of a job. Gee...that

used to be Compaq!

2) The work is exciting! That used to be Compaq!

3) The team respects your knowledge. That used to be Compaq!

4) I really have fun here. That used to be Compaq.

5) Job titles here have no meaning. I work directly for a VP, and know personally the CEO, CIO and

other senior management. They are approachable and treat you with genuine respect...that also

used to be Compaq!

6) My salary coming in went up double digits (>40%)...that used to be Compaq!

7) Forced distributions? NOT! There are no reviews here...waste of time...my feedback comes directly

from my VP, and it is constructive criticism with the intent to help me in my career. They don't

believe that a piece of paper should determine your future...you are the one who determines your

future!

I am indeed very lucky to be a part of this startup...

The only one it will get better for is Meg and her cronies at the top.

Sorry guys, I think the writer was talking about the company as a whole (HPE). Will the purchases save the company from further sinking. We wish the best for all the people of SimpliVity!
