VS is a scumbag a--hole.. Someday he is going to piss off the wrong guy and get what is coming to him.. He demoralizes associates to the point that they quit... Or if you have morals and values like me you make them fire you... Only problem is I didn't keep records of what was happening and I didn't seek professional help for my stress related problems. Lawyer said I would win but not worth the fight... Keep notes, records, emails, whatever you can grab.. See your Doctor, your psychiatrist , get them to show what kind of stress you are under...

I set a buy order on my stock a few weeks back at $9.00 hoping to bail before the big plunge... Of course should have sold a long time ago... But I'm not the sharpest pin in the box... Got it sold and now it's down to $8.30.. I don't think it will make it back over $9 again... Do You ?

When I was employed by Staples I read this stuff and didn't believe it.... Guess what readers, it's all true. Plan your exit strategy and get out as soon as you can. Find another gig and just leave... They won't do you any favors so don't do them any... You want me tomorrow ?? Fine I'll be there.. No notice or parting gifts ;-) FU Staples... Don't get burned like I did... 2 weeks notice, No Way... Leave while you can.. They won't give you any recommendations anyway.. Yes Mr so and so worked between blah and blah.. Can't tell if he was good or bad or if I would rehire him.. Goodbye.

This article is 100% on point - but Staples does not care - they want to get rid of good people and hire new people for cheaper off the street. These people will not have any loyalty and will go after a year or so.

They know the retail division is dying off. They do not want to keep good people. Long tenured, good people means more severance when the inevitable end comes. They'd rather have transients that would only be eligible for a couple weeks severance than have good managers that would get up to 12 weeks & UI benefits.

So they keep people like VS to drive good people out.
