Imho, I think Intel's earnings will be ok.
There was no pre-announcement warning, and winter holiday sales looks like it will be slightly better than the consensus low expectations of analysts.
What will make or break it is Q1 forecast. Again, expectations are low, so as long as expectations are met or slightly revised up, that would be good.
I'd peg intel at $39/share in the near term. At least, that's why I hope. If intel does well today, so will AMD. Heh heh.
