Corporate should start with the trans analyst team aka. T.A. That's an expense that staples should have never kept. You have a T.A. doing the routing for a route driver that has been doing the same route for years. In every sdo there is coverdrivers, lead drivers, supervisors that at one time where drivers. Why? doesn't staples eliminate this expense. Staples will save enormous amount of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$'$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ if sdo's utilize all the apps, upto date software for a smaller amount of money. We all know the same excuses save fuel, so drivers don't do extra milage, OVERTIME . Those are excuses get on the ball corporate the seasoned drivers are not going no where. Those drivers should able to route themselves. STAPLES this is what smartphone is used for USE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The day they decided to buy Corporate Express is the day this company started to die!
That move killed the transportation sid eof things AND shoved the T.A."s down our throats.
37 $ or cheater- ish. Every one is missing the point.
I'm sure your use of 37 dollar signs convinced everyone.
TA stands for total a--holes who have no clue wtf they are doing. Crappy jobs nobody wants working second shift.
Start the year right - FIRE VS and OP!
I was a driver for eight years with Staples right up until they went with third party. I agree with you the department who does the routing with road net can't do their jobs worth sh--. Strive for 95 slogan is a bunch of sh--. Staples is wasting money still using people to do the routing. To many layers of managers and supervisors and they decided to outsource most of the locations across the county to third party delivery companies that employ people who the majority of them can't speak English.
Back when I drove for Staples I didn't care what the hell the router said, If I have a order of 30boxes in my truck for the middle of my day guess what it's coming off first instead of fighting with it all day, not to mention those fun cases of water that use to break open and roll all around, or those fun to play with chair mats, or when the furniture guy was "busy" that day so you were welcomed that morning with freight in your truck that was always pleasant. The best one of all when you were assigned a "rental" which means it smelled of fish and used gear oil with no shelves with one strap holding 60 cases of paper..
Yup, have fun boys my day's of driving are long gone and I've never been happier..
make sure the guards have machine guns
EVERYONE is laid off, going to run company on honor system with security guards at self checkout lanes. Sad thing is they are not far away from that
yeah, that's right, rat each other out, survival of cheaterish.
that's the kind of place Staples is now.
