Can anyone explain to me why the layoffs keep getting pushed back? I first was told mid January, then it was the end of January. Now it is the end of February or mid March. I have heard CSC is having a hard time hiring in India and some people in India have already been fired.
Also, why on earth should we have to train the person/people taking over our positions due to us being laid off???

Layoffs are occurring now. Four US people were let go this past week in the SAP consulting practice. The layoffs are never publicly announced, people just disappear and the only way you find out that they're gone is that their email bounces back.
CSC Vietnam posted a picture on their Facebook with Mike "Cashing those Options" Lawrie a few days ago. Mikey must be taking the low cost center tour. That's funny...Mikey never visited once CSC's largest global profitable account.
What is the advantage in staying and training a replacement, if your severance packages are as lousy as we've read they are? This is a question, not a criticism.
