Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

I didn't watch our guv nor last night did he talk about low unemployment?

Jokes on him when we all lose our jobs, that should tick it up a bit.

Good luck everyone, it's going to be another lackluster year, and we will see no prosperity, just another year older.

Day late and a dollar short for Stste Street employees.

But the numbers sound soooo good.

They all live with blinders on.

We all get stuck footing the bill of failed policies.

To the dumb--s , sorry add 120,000 jobs in Retail and Service which pay less than $22,000 is

not going to help build the economy. Its the jobs we lost that paid $40,000 ++++ which help build

our economy.

He's a RINO

I'm sorry I voted for him

He's no better than our senators he won't veto that pay raise and we'll have higher taxes and less oat I already make less than last year due to our insurance going up this year and I'm sure the T will need another fare hike it's a weeks pay at this point

Our economy is among the strongest in the nation

Over the past two years we’ve added 120,000 jobs. Today more people are working than at any time in the past 20 years.

The job gains have benefited every corner of our state

For example, New Bedford had the steepest unemployment decline in the entire country. With an unemployment rate that has fallen from 6.5 percent to 3.7 percent in just the past year.

Finally, too many of our returning heroes struggle to find good jobs

So we’ll be proposing a $4,000 tax credit for businesses hiring and retaining an unemployed veteran

That is the text from Gov. Baker regarding unemployment
