Accenture is laying off again in year 2017 in India through force resignation

Accenture is not a good company. Better join those company which respect the employee contributions. Accenture has hidden guidelines which they never speak in official but the guidelines comes to HR and then HR ask the resource to put resignation. They will insist for resignation and some time they will not pay you three month advance salary as per the initial agreement, if your luck is bad. They have frequent change in guidelines that makes the employee surprise. In these type of company they keep performance cycle which has no basis to judge good or bad employee. These are just a formality and for company self satisfaction that actually they are relieving bad performing employee.

So be cautious. Don't join these company. Better join the Indian company which gives you respect and stability in your career.

Accenture lay off every year from backend so no one knows number but every year number is increasing significantly. Pip ( process improvement program) is process that they fallow for removing employee .

After 5 years to 10 years in Accenture how any one can perform bad . Otherwise he or she can not be bad after spending of more than 5 or 10 years...

There is no control of indian government as in Other country so people . It is difficult to remove any one in USA or United Kingdom as labber laws are very strick in those countries.

Today my wife got fired in bangalore ecospace office. Team lead is south indian and she is north indian. This was to root cause form the day she got into project. Finally TL managed to get her fired. Please bless her to get new job soon but I would ask everybody not to join accentrure as this company has rotten from inside. Join a work startup rather accenture to ruin career and health.

Completly agree ..!! Accenture India does not care for the employees ..!! They hire Leaders from C grade companies with pathetic people management skills who just play politics and behave unprofessionally with the employees . They have tremendous abilities to prove someone incompetent and useless . I have not seen Level 6-7 focusing on career development of the employees . There are not career developers , they are career spoiler ..!!

Layoff in Accenture is a reality. It is fine if the decision is due to the bad financial performance of the company or the bad performance of the employee, even after given with a warning. What happens on the ground is head count reduction in each level ranging from 5% at lower levels till 25% at Manager levels. and these numbers are to be strictly followed no matter what. Even if the resource is performing good or not, if they come under the % bracket, they should leave. The HR & leadership team will convince you that you are not worth it and has done nothing to the project and the company.

People are asked to resign forcefully with no option to continue. It is horrible in here now.

Accenture will soon be taken over (bought) by one of the bigger companies and the Managers, Senior Managers and above who are non-technical from US/Canada/UK/Australia/NZ/India/China/Phillipines will be laid off in big numbers.

Since they are being bought no one's job will be safe. Only if you are lucky enough to work on the technologies preferred by the company taking them over you have a chance of surviving a big layoff.

This concept is wrong or you can say its' blind headed now.why company will mean business only .Why company dont have a concern for the employees to educate themselves where their qualification will get judged based not only their performance ,but also their knowledge ,not the amount of time spent in the company.

Techm is of the most worst company ,they pay less get more work , I am into this company for 8 yrs . currently I am in USA,

I heard from offshore there is massive layoff going on ... Dont join in these kind of company .

Accenture is laying off big time in India. They have brought a new appraisal process last year(2016) under the guise of doing away with bell curve. But in reality, the new appraisal process has been used to brutually earmark the employees under "Need Improvement" and then fire them. Anywhere between 5000 - 10000 people have been laid off. Mostly in senior levels. Someone should file a lawsuit in India against this company

Atleast in Accenture there is guideline and policy nd u will not maligned before u are fired.

In Indian companies like Techm, TCS, syntel etc, it arbitrary , if u are working in Mumbai or pune the non local south indians will be fired first as most management and HR is marathi and north indians.

In chennai the tamil bastion non tamils are first to be fired . In Bangalore the malayali lobbies rule the roost and fire non malayalias first.

In Techm certain projects are reserved for firing purpose in Pune, roles of end to end delivery.defect manager/ delivery lead in BT delivery hub project is sureshot ejection seat non marathis are pushed into these proejct and fired after 3 months-6months period after fake escalations and complaints are compiled as evidence by the core group .

techm has strong policy of no allowing technical training for people in BT projects. Also going on leave is not allowed and weekend working is regular feature.

Ur work contribution will not be acknowledged in appraisal and u will labelled as bad (falsely).

IT sector in India has become corrupt. middle management is all rotten (DM, associate director, program manager, senioramanager delivery director, AVP etc).

Why blame Accenture for layoffs! Any company that makes losses will have layoffs. Secondly India needs to work on Social Security and laws in the private sector. Most of the SEZs have gone lawless. Where are the rules on work timings? Few good companies like Wipro, Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, BASF, Mahindra, Google and Birla follow work ethics. Rest are lawless.
