Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Salvage

I'm beginning to think Sears may have some salvage value and may survive as a much smaller entity, Kmart has long become the proverbial "sacrificial lamb" and is toast

It could end up an internet retailer such as the current Montgomery Wards. So much smaller it will be nearly non-existent.

Kmart have more shoppers without transportation, meaning they can't easily shop elsewhere. If they had transportation there would be no sales whatsoever.

Sears year over year sales show a higher decrease however this doesn't mean that they are in worse shape than kmart. Just that they will both close in the near future
