Wyotech Pays Victory Media to Target Vets?

Victory Media has made Wyotech a Military Friendly Top Ten $chool. I wonder how much Zenith paid for this designation. Victory Media is a predatory enterprise, with a "pay-to-play" system.

Many talk about receiving thousands per month in living expenses plus they get unemployment compensation while attending school. I also know they get a larger stipend for attending Blairsville than Laramie because of the state. Most make out very well while attending WyoTech, probably a lot better than once they graduate. That's one of the selling points second course recruiters use when trying to get the veterans to enroll in additional classes.

How many vets are using Wyotech for the stipend?

Believe me, WyoTech looks at veterans as dollar signs, nothing more. Veterans have been the life blood of WyoTech for years. For WyoTech veterans are an easy target for enrollment and it's guaranteed money. The military recruiters were always paid a higher salary than the public recruiters.

At what point will someone step in and put and put an end to WyoTech stealing from our Veterans? These men and women are given $$$$ to educate themselves so that they can go on to have a successful life. These sleaze bag military representatives led by that shell shocked abomination are ruthless! They speak of these prospects as brothers - WTF! Who needs a brother that will steal from you and stab you in the back. Equipment is outdated, instructors are tired and outdated, reputation is tarnished and Daytona is a disgrace.

Do our veterans a favor and close these schools down!!!

Of course Victory doesn't pay any of the schools, why would they? Zenith is paying Victory for the rating, that's how it works. Victory sure as hell don't work for free, they wouldn't be around very long now would they?

Victory Media does not pay any schools for evaluating, ranking, and publicizing their military-friendly qualities or lack thereof. Neither Wyotech, Zenith, nor ECMC, nor any organization or individual connected with them, pays Victory Media anything at all.

Of course WyoTech is going to pay dearly to make the military friendly list, that's who they target. The total combined student population of the three WyoTechs combined is about 800 students with approximately 500 being veterans. If they were to lose the military endorsement the doors would be locked. WyoTech has survived on the Veterans Administration for the last eight to ten years. I've witnessed veterans spend every available dollar of their benefits taking every class offered by WyoTech. The recruiters are required to pressure each veteran to use every dime of their education benefits taking additional classes, even if the class is irrelevant to the student. As the management says, it's easy guaranteed cash and keeps our paychecks coming.

Even UTI made the list.

WyoTech may not be what it used to be years ago, but the instructors ARE experienced technicians and many have 10 or more years of industry experience. Say what you want about how the schools are managed, which is terrible, but the instructors have knowledge.

Wyotech is a training school to make money off of the students not educate the students in current skills. The training is done by a large part of inexperienced teachers whom have not been in any current industry. Even the way the school is managed is to make money based on incoming enrollment. Education is never mentioned in an meeting I sit in. Cheerleaders for the football team.
