Capgemini India using dirty tactics to make people leave

They are giving forced rating of 4 meaning 0 hike and no bonus. Demoting and pushing employees to bad project. Using these tactics they wann employees to resign.

All this making CG India real bad company to work for.

This is completely managers oriented company by promoting them every 1 & 1.5 yrs. If the business unit not doing profit or doing mild profit they will promote there managers where as they will layoff there developers and they will utilise developers performance bounce among there managers. Here always victims are the developers irespective of good or bad. Here most suffered employees are the freshers. Freshers are just orphan here. Capgemini is headed for a disaster. Its a shame PCS India culture was crushed so dastardly first by American iGate and now French Capgemini. Really unfortunate we cant even show this generation virtuous efforts of Narendra Patni, PCS founder.

Joined as fresher (Igate) given dumb project not even related to trainings given Cuz they dnt hv projects . Wasted my 2 years Cuz of bond and in the end forced to resign in 2017 .Igate managers retain dumb people who take whole day to do simple tasks. Capge policies worse thn Igate.

When people without technical or Management skills are promoted and working on key roles, then it's the start of the doom day for the organization. I am seeing the same with Capgemini. Wait for next 3 quarters and you will see the downfall in bottom line. Igate integration was a mess, I don't know how those guys were matched one level above CG resources. Looks like Capgemini is on sale and want to show more like a pure India player.

We have 7-10 years experienced N+1 who can't even speak proper english.. Only because they are in that project for more time than anyone else doing nothing, managers usually don't go against them. Which is sad ! I have seen one guy was bullied by old project guys and all blame for project failure was given to him.. He got so frustrated and morally down that he left CG...everyone on the floor was knowing he was being bullied for their failure.... couldn't account manager helped this guy? But this is what CG is

My experience with CG is not good from very start.. Delay in issue of ID card because of printer not working.. I mean commoooon... you are CMM level 5 company.. you are giving this excuse ?

RMG is worst..they give your reference to some un- relevant project and if you reject the project they start increasing your rejection count..

Igate was very good.

After merging....... we are literally seeing hell.

CG's tag line itself is a bluff.

Few months back top managers introduced Social trade biz which is Rs.3700cr scam business to their team. Many employees lost their money through this scam.. management pramoted those who did good marketing of this scam business in CG BLR location.

Got selected in Igate and joined hoping for bright future. Asked to leave after 5 months even though no project is allocated. This happened during capgemini merger and I became scapegoat. I was hit financially even though I got another job. It was a blackmark in my resume. The management guy responsible for this will suffer in no time, a horrible and miserable wrath. Asss hole company. Fcukin mother fcukers.

Don't join Capgemini in Gurgaon. No projects. After RBS project is gone to evwn a single project has come. RPA also is also bad with no clear communication from management. All people are playing games in training room waiting for projects. Center head is useless and new executive in RBS is not able to bring any projects..

Only testing and documentation work so donnt care about skilled resource .

Apart from testing,documentation amd support competency work.

My salary got deducted of rs 500 per month.

After getting good reviews and hope from management I got no hike and we are filling timecard of 9 hours shift but we have to do shift of 9.30 hours. If we take a single minute extra break or if we do a shift which is less than 9.30 hours, manager gives us poor marks and also it hampers PMD. Lots of pressure and poor salary. It's difficult to survive . 3 months of notice period, cant move also.

True comments, those who are feeling pitty for Capgemini are the people all are talking about. Earning lakhs of rupees permonth for every resource and at the end giving 3 to 5 percent hike. Rating people low in the name of belcurve and demoralizing resources under the name of f....ing policies.

Guys everything said is true. Capgemini was a very nice company to work with. I also agree with the promotion system as it was based on your affinity with the management . people who were well conected got promoted where as thr rest remain where they were. Your rating and the increment not interrelated. U could get a rating of 3 and get a 10 percent increment or a rating of 2 and just 5 percent. Thing went worst after the igate aquisition. Increment went on the downward trend . a lot of good performer have left the organisation because of this issue and would to do so. Company is hireing new guys straight from college and putting them on projects leading to lot of chaos in the project. A lot of escaltion are due to this issue

Previous Bands are P1,P2, P3,P4, P5,M1.... etc and as per previous policy max 3yr are required to move from one band to another.. but now I am on P3 band..completed 2.8yrs and company changed policy...

New structure is B1,B2, C1,C2...etc means No more promotions... Number of years to move from one band to other is not defined. Policies are not clear...

Also there are Some employees joined CG as Fresher and served more than 5yrs.. Instead of promoting that employees.. CG is hiring new resources from market..

Don't know how to trust on such organization.

Lot of politics ....specially within Infra......CG must lay off all Managers first who are really useless and Liability to company. They (Management) getting salaries by doing nothing. Worst thing is, managers imposing their work to Technical guys.....absolutely b---s---. This must be stopped.

Very true, it is unfortunate to work with such bad and partial managers. Even though your performance is well appreciated throughout the year, they give you bad ratings just to fit you in the bell curve. We have seen people roaming around doing nothing but every year getting promotions and increments just because they are favorites of Leadership Team. They give you zero increments, zero variable, however, in zero increment letter they show full variable, which they actually have not paid.

What are global leaders / management doing ? Sleeping ???

its not good to compair the capabilities of the employee, we work to earn not for race to get top in each n every work. life has stucked and getting irritate more day by days following racing rules in office .and even we want to change , we can not do coz of 3 month of notice period ,fact is no any other firm is ready to ready wait for three mothts . we are doing work like donkey no any new ideas applied for project , and politics takes place is beyond the govt of india.become ruined life now.
