I wish people stop saying five years its only 2 yrs the max the rest is propaganda for you not to go union. Altice is saying five years knowing its only 2yrs. All i can say is look for another job i did im glad i left and this time im union..thank god.
And thats what alot of these techs believe that their jobs are safe and there will be so much work to do ahead...alot of that work will be done by contractors..and after the build..outside plant will be all fiber...very little if any maintenance needed...and fiber to the home then streaming to all the devices wirelessly...little to be done there too...and they will make it so that customers can do things over the phone...to centralized call centers eliminating most call centers too and having equipment mailed. You techs need to wake up seriously...they are feeding you promises and you believe them..and if being unionized was so bad why do they try so hard to stop it? 2% for representation dues is peanuts...thats 2 bucks for every hundred you make..plus its tax deductible so youll get alot of it back in your tax refund..and all they do is talk smack about brooklyn contract...brooklyn brooklyn brooklyn...thats all they have to go by...what about all the other great contracts the union have gotten other shops...verizon, con Edison, orange and rockland, frontier, at&t, etc.
We will get our own contract.
We had a liar in our midst yesterday..I almost laughed out loud...Funny how this old regime who s---ed Dolan d--k is now s---ing new company d--k.....And all you idiots swallow it....5 yrs tops and we are done,wake up .....And just so you morons know,the work force will reduced by July significantly.....You get all you deserve...And if they offered you a package and you didn't take it, doomsday is coming....Your VPs,manager's are liars...
