No one but Intel has everything google needs.
Technically, old news within Intel - this was on slideware two (or was it three?) years ago, with an emphasis on the ARM threat rather than internal Si design issues. So, Google (likely others) has thrown down with the threat that slipped deliveries on smaller NM Si won't cut the mustard any further, especially when combined with the lack of demonstrated incremental performance increase in key areas of concern to the company's vast search engines. If I were still at Intel, I might be concerned....
