Keep believing the union hype. Yeah, one of us will be at the table, with a few union guys negotiating with Altice lawyers for years. They'll come back with a crappy cba and you'll vote for it. They'll say "hey, the first one is to get the ball rolling. The second one will be better". I've seen this before. You go 'vote' on an awesome contract!! I'm sure ibew is amazing. Stop believing propaganda. Both ibew and Altice are spitting out their own message. Neither are honest. So stop believing both and look into unions for yourself. And that doesn't mean reading this bs site or listening to co-workers.

That's the CWA......The IBEW contract CAN NOT BE INSTUTED WITH OUT A MAJORITY VOTE BY US!! AND EMPLOYEES LIKE US WILL BE AT THE TABLE WITH THE IBEW. THOSE GROUPS LIKE VERIZON AND PSEG HAVE BEEN DOING JUST FINE WITHOUT US1

We're not getting pse&g money, we're not getting "more". "We" will not be at the table, and the truth is the union will be negotiating for us and the union. You can look that up as fact. When push comes to shove the union will always side with what's best for the whole union not us. That's why Brooklyn got screwed. CWA agreed to a crappy cba so the cablevision nonsense wouldn't interfere with their pending Verizon strike. That's a fact. And they extended brooklyns contract? Those guys got screwed. I'm not spending 3+ years with my pay frozen for that crap. The days of unions with power are over.

Hands down thats what i have been trying to say no matter what we will have a contract with more then what we have now and we wont lose nothing else they have there hands in our pocket and just keep picking and with a contract they can limit the amount of contractors being used hello people wake the f--- up you guys shouldn't argue lets just fight back

What have you seen?? Every IBEW contract that I have SEEN, PSE&G ($50-$85 an hr), Verizon ($37-$45 an hr with a 10.5% increase through the next 3 years), hell even their traffic control guys make $24 an hr and that's the guys who hold the Stop and Slow signs!!!! And that's just to name a few!! And all of these company's are making tons of $$$. Wake up...Plus we will have our own techs who will be at the table when own contact is negotiated....Then that contract can not be in place until we vote on it.. I don't think we should fight with each other, we need to unite for the sake of our futures and the future securities of our families..

I'm sorry. I just don't see the advantage of a third party negotiating at this point. I'm not afraid of change and based on technology it isn't feasible that skilled technicians will not be needed. You can't just pull people off the street to troubleshoot fiber/wifi. Family and brotherhood sounds nice, but this is my career, not a team sport. I'd rather let it ride on my skills, not a union promise. (I've seen how that goes)

Really? You got that in writing? I've seen the Brooklyn contract. I don't understand how they got that and we'd get better

Hands down opened up my eyes these guys answer any questions. You see all the b---s--- we have been threw we will not lose nothin else by signing with them and everything can be carried over to ats or stay with you in altice usa. Once we get the union in we all come up with things we want and they bring it to altice and it goes back and fourth until we agree upon it and all vote it in we have all been lied to avout the union they are our voice we dont have a voice as of right now it definitely is something that needs to be pushed towards
