So sorry to hear the news about NOV Gateshead so much talent and loyalty down the drain but this was always on the cards the day mark gill and his band of merry men took charge, so many bad decisions from so many incompetent people if only they had listen, ENOUGH said. All the best to you all especially all the long termers who put so much hard work and effort in to get the company to where it was before the yanks took over, Robert Anderson will be devastated, Good luck lads.

I don't think Robert Anderson will be to devastated when he looks at his bank balance ! I'm sure that will help him get over the devastation , but I'll be surprised if he is not a little saddened by the way it's turning out after all the work to build the business. The thing is if he had not sold the business to nov how many more years would he have wanted to go on and who would have run it in the future. Can any of you remember an inspector from Prudhoe called Jim but I can't remember his surname but I think he retired when Robert sold the business.
