No mention of intel, how far this once iconic technology company has fallen.
Dang even Microsoft our bedmate from the last two decades made it. Could the difference be the quality and intelligence of MS CEO versus the San Jose graduate and the strategy being executed? One reigniting growth the other long slow decline to commodity manufacture. Dang can't even keep Moore going anymore.
Though it would be funny for Intel's board to fire BK and replace him with Murthy. Then Intel will be the absolute laughing stock.
But you k mnie it's eventually coming. Why else would Murthy join Intel?
It's been proven time and time again .. old white leadership is a failing proposition in high tech.
Microsoft, nvidia, AMD, even Google.
I remember Nvidia's CEO, back around 2006 or so, openly saying he planned to "open a can of whoop-a$$ on Intel." Intel of course was too arrogant to understand and stayed focused / blinded by the x86 monopoly they still believed in. Though Andy Bryant did say around the same time that he passed up a chance to buy Nvidia and it was a mistake.
Intel is no longer a tech powerhouse. Microsoft is turning around in some pretty remarkable and positive ways under CEO Pichai after falling back for a number of years under Ballmer. Intel is not turning around, if anything it is falling further down a steeper and slipper slope under the weight of the stupidity of clown shoes BK and his failed SJW "strategies".
Alexa and Nvidia were the stars of the show.
What a faceplant by Intel as little Nvidia gets the feature spot and rocks the house.
Guess BK and his BS is obvious CES, too bad the BoD can't see how empty the leadership has become.
Amazing how Intel went from premier chip and silicon technology company to afterthought
Intel is in deep, prolonged crisis. Sadly, its leaders do not deserve their jobs based on their performance.
The company did not have any meaningful presence at recent IEDM (dec. 2016) - lost its process technology leadership, very late to the 10nm node. CES 2017 is no different with minor presentations and shallow promises. It is easy to talk about self driving cars in five years. But the company does not grow anymore, its PC biz is shrinking and the leaders do not have any idea how to grow biz.
Intel is irrelevant.
