Newark will never go union all it takes for them is some under cooked food and stale bread they would vote no in a heart beat. They got there priorities messed up in that place but what else can you expect from a hood shop.

It's funny how you guys talk crap about Newark but what happened in Bronx and Piscataway ? From what I was told those 2 spots were shoe ins . I was down for this union vote but now I'm seeing different . I don't trust anyone nor any of you.
The union tried to organize before Altice took over. The company said wait and see. We lost overtime, sick time, 1 holiday, soon to loose cable benefit, increased medical... lets wait some more guys!!! The union is not about protecting slackers or about hurting the company! There are always gonna be guys that do as little as possible. The guys I know in Suffolk that are for the union are all good techs! The company would say the same. The union wants the company to make money! It makes sense. Everyone wins. But we need to be treated with respect... work SAFE and get what's fair! It's hard to live on Long Island or NY in general. When are you guys going to realize that everything Altice has done was TAKE, TAKE,TAKE! The next thing they will take is your career. For many of us, we have HAD a career here, and now it has turned into a job. With the everyday changes and the uncertainty, it has caused us to work day by day not knowing what the next TAKE AWAY will be. Listen, since day one there has not been one positive. All has been NEGATIVE. If you can honestly say that the morale in your shop is positive, well then you are a spineless puppet. When will someone finally step up to these dbags and have a backbone.
