Simon has internally just announced closing of its South Region Management and key field employees. Several mid level managers are going to fill back in Marketing and Operational Director slots. Other Marketing Directors and Key personel are being laid off. Jan 6 2017

That is the million dollar question Simon will hold close.
Is this merely orgainizational change as Simon had many mid level managers and with so many malls close to on another, they can group management more strategically, or is it truly a sign the behemoth is starting to crumble under all pressure the industry is experiencing? I side with a major rebranding that time and again fails big companies as they spend millions to tout their name, many that have failed miserably thereafter.
Does anyone know how wide spread this will be?
