Have anyone of you ever used an excuse or attempted to get out of attending a F2F.
We just had one two months ago, there is no need to have another one. Director wants to help same people travel and enjoy shopping trip to USA - before the ACT/their departure from team. He will not allow a new person joining the team to attend a F2F to save travel costs, but allows those leaving the team to attend. I have no interest in attending F2F. Anyone has any ideas how to get out of it ?
I can't help with the travel, but I did have a co-worker claim illness once he arrived. Held up in his hotel room for two straight days and nights. Wish I would have thought of it earlier. Balsy!
I'm sure you can get creative. "My sig other is traveling and I need to take care of the child", "I'm sick" (the morning of), etc.

Intel Directors should be demoted to Managers
With pay cuts of course.
Why does a person no longer part of a team and soon to be moving into another company or team, need to travel international, to attend a F2F ?

Something medical- have your Doctor get you out of it. F2F always a total waste of time, money and energy!
