I'm on a non-US Intel site, a couple of hundred people. During the roughly 7 years I've worked for Intel I've receive no training (excluding the BS legal trainings and other nonsense, and couple of superficial technical trainings by own team )and haven't been able to spend any time to develop myself. I've asked if I can attend some trainings or buy at least some books but there's never any budget.
Now after the time I realize that I don't really have any skills to succeed outside Intel and I don't have any chance of fixing that. The work at Intel is awful and I hate the company.
Is this common for Intel? Do US employees get to develop themselves?
