  1. Staples will be closing roughly 200 stores a year for the next 3 years - Start reducing costs on RVPs and DMs NOW. They only cut 1 RVP and 8 DMs in Feb 2017. there was opportunity to make deeper cuts.

  2. Focusing on training people to sell - there is still a need for operations/tasking. Unless they want to run overnight or early morning crews to perform these functions they can't have everyone focus on selling during open hours. I am not saying employees tasking should ignore customers, but it Is unfair to hold them accountable for the same level of sales as a technician walking the floor an strictly engaging customers.

If Staples wants good / excellent sales people they need to provide cash commissions, not just barely above min wages and Star Points
