Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

are we still eligible for unemployment benefits after we stay through the end and all severance and bonus paid. It seems to me that were not

reading the contract offered there seems to be wording in there that your not eligible for unemployment benefits and all u get is your severance and bonus if u stay on tell august. Any thoughts on this matter whats your take on this

Kellogg's has paid into the "system" during the year!

No recourse on money deposited weather it be federal or state!

YOU should file a claim after your LDW!

Remember don't screw up and keep your nose clean till the very end!

In California you can collect unemployment while receiving the severance pay. Just do a quick google search for your state and ya can find out.

I believe once you are no longer on the company payroll (your severance is completely paid out) then yes you can receive unemployment.

Unemployment is a federal program each state has it's own rules. Kellogg can not take your unemployment benefits away unless you quit, there is a penalty for quitting your job.
