IT is getting outsourced within 3 months to IBM

IT staff to be rebadged as IBM employees within 3 months. Many managers laid off or fired on trumped up HR charges cuz IBM doesn't want them. Morale at all time low.

I have spoken with the media. Some people aren't allowed as the severance will be terminated if they do. Once the severance is done more are talking. It would be a great piece to showcase the 1st quarter earnings. See if all of this helped or hurt.

Over the past few months at the Framingham MA headquarters;

The layoffs continue each week,

The re-applying for your prior job with IBM is well underway,

The re-grading of associates to a lower grade and pay, or hit the road has started.

And yet nothing has made the media?

Staples plants stake in Amazon’s backyard, opens engineering center in Seattle

Masud, who was recruited to Amazon in 2002, said Seattle is a natural place for the company’s expansion.

“It is pretty clear to us that the supply of folks in Framingham, Massachusetts is a little bit lower than what we can do in Seattle, Washington,” said Masud. “The talent pool is very strong here.”

Looks like it is coming true. Outsource GT. He could be the next CEO. Apparently the people in Framingham are, "a little bit lower" than the caliber of Seattle. We were warned in 2014.

I didn't no Staples still gave Bonuses I thought that was a thing of the past? Or is this for unpper level employee's?

It is a very good bet that if they are delaying bonus payouts until May and are planning another round of RIFs in March and April, the delay is specifically meant to avoid paying out those bonuses.

Remember, this company is shady and desperate.

I heard there is another rif in March and April. If I am one of the employees outsourced to IBM do I still get my bonus if they aren't paid until May? I heard rumors that you still had to be an employee on May 1. I worry that I will be moved by then. What about the bonus I have worked for all year? I am sick of breaking my back to pay those at the top. Maybe the IBM deal is a rumor or won't go through. It could take a year or so.

This is the Staples standard tactic - that is when harassment and trying to drive people to quit does not work. Harassment is preferred to save on severance and unemployment costs, but firing for BS reasons often lets them contest UI. Sooner or later they will fire the wrong people and a lawsuit will happen.

They had to settle the sales manager class action 7 years ago after claiming no wrongdoing , this is the same thing. My state's labor department has been favoring the claimant on cases contested by

Staples because they know Staples is forcing people out.
