After 26 years of service I was offered a severance package today. I was always one of the top ranked salespeople in my district. The people that were let compared to the people they offered positions to is a complete f••••ing joke. Good luck Kelloggs hope you go bankrupt!!

Seriously, why would anyone want to stick around for any job offered? So they can put you thru this same bs again 6 months from now when stores are completely transitioned with transformation? Get the hell out and use your experience to find a better job and never buy another Kelloggs product. Tell your friends not to buy them. Word of mouth goes along way.
I was told if I hit 98 present and stay until august 18 I would get the 68 hundred bonus and Kellogg's would gift me the car, what a joke, its like believing in Santa clause, I bet the number of people hitting this could be counted on one hand. good luck to all of the great people of Kellogg's and I hope all the top brass rots in hell.
My husband also received his severance package papers today. 12 years with Kellogg's, Territory Manager of the year 3 years in a row! 4.5 grade every evaluation, top salesperson time after time. There's no reason they shouldn't have offered him a position other than the fact that he's a plaintiff in the class action lawsuit. Go figure.
What the hell you talking about??
Wait until you guys see what goes down in 2017. Too bad you're clueless about it, this is gonna sting a tad.
LOL!!
Good luck!!
Interesting. I've heard they used 2016 Performance Reviews, 2016 Scorecard, and multiple years Scorecards. Sounds like they are either making it up as they go, or using the method that gets them (HR) the desired result. Sorry they cut you loose! I'll find out my fate soon enough.
August 18
When the severance effective date
They claim scorecard rankings. No way possible.
What criteria did they say they used to decide who was offered a job or not?
