Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

Transition meetings?

Anybody have any inside info on the transition meetings being scheduled next week? I wonder what the "contract" looks like and what they want from us both Merch and reps? I aint signing anything until I get a lawyer to look at it. I don't trust them at all.

The third-party that you're speaking about is just someone from HR. A person from HR will be in there when they offer you your severance package or if you're one of the very very few a job. What's so ironic about all of this is your DM and even the zone manager had no input whatsoever as to who got to keep a job or not. But yet they are the ones that have to tell you don't have a job.

There is no doubt that they have an offer that has been gone over by there legal team that leaves you in a no win situation. How many times did they offer you a new compensation method and say take it or leave it. Level 2... Level 1 full time employees lose everytime at Kellogg's

You aren't meeting face to face? My husband was told he would be meeting face to face with his RSM and DM next week at the a Warren, OH DC.

I just got my 1 on 1 invite today for next week. It seems they have invited a 3rd party "career transition specialist" to join in on the calls with the SRM and DM. I've spent the last 13 years of my life working my butt off for this company. (I'm obviously not being offered a position with this company's future sales organization with a career transition specialist joining my personal call) Before I sign anything or anyone does I would look it over really well to make sure it's in your best interest. John Bryant did say "You will be treated like you want to be treated". If he really means that they should spell out every detail in plain english and not have all the "lawyer speak" in the severance package so we know exactly what they expect of us, what we will earn, and how we will earn it.
