Do Enbridge employee's work a regular 9 hour day (8 hours + 1 hour lunch)?
Do they work 1/2 day on Friday's?
How do they accumulate hours for the SDO Day?

Everyone should be careful to give their work group before answering these questions. Some groups have 35 hour weeks. Some have 40 hour weeks.
In the Houston office we have two work schedules. The first is the standard 8 hour day with a minimum of 30 minutes for lunch. The second is called flex 40 where you work 9 hours with a minimum 30 minute lunch on Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
SDOs are a day off that must be taken in the month it is given. If you don't take it, you lose it. SDOs are new to the Houston office.

I guess it depends if you are a union members or not. Most employees in Enbridge Gas are unions expect team leads and mgmt. Union employees can work an extra .5 hours , most union employees work a 35 hour week. 830 - 4 with 30 minutes lunch or 8-4 with 1 hour lunch.
They are called edos, and most employees only work 35 hours a week. You have a choice if you want to work an extra .5 hours a day to accumulate days off.
