You were all warned. Unfortunately, I'm not happy to say that I was right. Great people have been let go.
There were talks about changes being made to steer the Harrison ship in the right direction. They were wrong! HC is not a ship, it's less structurally sound than the door that sent poor Jack Dawson to his demise. Apart from not being a ship, this is no direction.
Here I lie, comfortable with the way things are. Unlike many of you, my job is safe. I just have to keep telling you that things will be the same and nothing will change. Saying things like these decisions are made with the students in mind. I may look like I enjoy the HC Carolina Blue Kool-Aid but please believe me when I say that when they turn their heads, I spit it out.
Now, please pay close attention. The company is doomed to fail. Some campuses will close sooner than others. Some are fortunate to have longer leases and will outlast better performing campuses.
How many more people have to leave or be let go before you believe it?
Get your resumes ready. Dust off that beautiful suit for that interview. Practice those interview questions.
