Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

Lay offs across the board, yet on the Global Website they are posting positions for temporary full-time merchandisers?

"Welcome aboard! I hope you brought a life vest with you, because we won't be able to save you when you start to go under!"

If you quit your Severance packages out the door merchandisers are getting an extra $125 a week to stay. Hold onto your hats people Mr. Hoffa filed a class action lawsuit I will give it six weeks the teamsters will be on the picket line Nationwide.Kelloggs name is about to be dragged through the dirt they are trying to force them to keep the doors open let's set back and see if the teamsters are all they claim they are.

Found out today Walmart will start their direct shipments on April 17 which means my hours will start to be cut then. This severance package isn't worth d--k if I'm going from 40 to 10 hours a week for months.

14+ years of service as an RSR. Two time RSR of the year/district winner. So glad I took the severance package instead of staying as a vacation relief/FT merchandiser last year. Sorry to all those who are still there and have to go through this. Their unrealistic vision, lack of effective innovation and poor management skills have finally caused their surrender.

I know for myself, I had two part-time merchandiser's leave once they heard the new. One full-timer is looking for work elsewhere, which will eventually leave only me. Oh, remember to make your number, so you can benefit from our severance package. How will I be able to do this alone. I'm sure I won't see any management out in the field throwing cases and writing orders.

I was raised with ethics, I just wonder who raised the brainiac behind this plan? Greed!!!

The stores are just causulties of the war. This company screwed us and expects great service while we all know we're done in five months. The stores will be luckey to have half a-- for a month or two when everyone starts getting different jobs and there will be no service. Loyalty is something My grandparents talked about when it came to company's, my loyalty is to my wallet. We're nothing to company's now so that's how I will treat them. Kelloggs had no problem blaming millennials and the internet for letting us go and it must had been rough since the people that told us we're getting laid off get to keep their 100k jobs. My schooling says to always give all, but my common sense says to say f--- you kelloggs.

Structure is crumbling already. Store people are telling me that they have had no Kellogg's service in 2-3 days. Have merchandisers already jumped ship ? Where did these folks obtain their business management experience and education. You cannot make this stuff up.
