Thread regarding Kellogg Co. layoffs

A cruel, greedy company!

As an ex RSR, none of the news I have been reading comes as a surprise! I was putting in 70 hours a week, with very few hours provided for merchandiser assistance. I was responsible for a 10 store territory, and I was personally throwing 400 cases a week to the shelves, sometimes working 14 hour days, and always working seven days a week. I believe that there are currently some class-action lawsuits being pursued, and I would wager that this is why upper management chose to eliminate the DSD portion of their operations. If you have ever been to Battle Creek, you can figure out where all of the big money resides!

28 stores in 8 cities with 3 PTM's here. That's about average now in California.

I have worked here for 17 years working 6 days a week trying to hit sky high numbers / and all ways put this joke of a company first, and they throw me a way on a conference call, kelloggs s---s !!!!!! , sorry I wasted my time working here. I am going to do the bear minimum moving forward, not selling any more displays, put all my coupons in the trash, all orders will be written truck to shelf, and no more fixing inventories at Walmart , they s--- too. last but not lease I'm going to let Nabisco steal our space.

22 stores and 2 PTM's who were only allowed 12 hours per week. Yes, you guessed it. I worked 6 days a week and on Sundays my wife would come with me so we could spend some time together. Ridiculous!

There is a class action lawsuit everyone can join. Go here: http://m.getmansweeney.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fgetmansweeney.com%2Fcurrent-cases%2Fkellogg-overtime&dm_redirected=true#2896

I'm planning on talking to my husband about joining it.

About 2 years ago a former D.M.said he had heard this was in the works. It was p--pooed as just a silly rumor by management.

I knew something was amiss when i started recieving the sign and return " we are a at will company and can terminate your employment at any time for any reason."

After 20 + years.

We definitely need a class action lawsuit. 60 hrs a week is a definite. 50 hours a week was during the easy flowing months. We get paid for 40. After 42 hrs nabisco gets ot pay. What the hell kind of justice is that. K-Values is a crock of you know what. Get your attorneys ready. Make the liars and cheats pay!

I apologize for under reporting the size of my territory! It was actually 12 stores, with 2 PTMs.

13 stores and one PTM.

I would not put it past this company to make us sign a letter saying we won't pursue a lawsuit in order for us to get severance/retention.
