Just in time to release as a year end 'restructuring charge' so that they don't have to acknowledge how far behind the ball they were in their strategic plan. Just so they can 'save face' calling it restructuring like last year. Get out people or, I hope you get a decent package. The sf market is saturated. These rich a--holes are horrible at planning and make their customers and employees pay for it. Think they touched executive compensation? Umm no. They're still keeping their jets and Teslas. I lead. I HATE MCKESSON to the literal core of my soul... All the wasted years. for what? to make the top rich? They s--- the last drop of blood from your body, and s--- and drain you dry. Layoff is McKesson's 1st word. Have fun India! You have sold your soul to SATAN, and you will perish, just like the software they wanted to lead in. ICARE... bullsh**t you care about nothing! You destroyed the people that believed in this company to make patients lives safer.... INSTEAD..... You are destroying people's lives, and patients safety with your broken software. God.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Hospitals..... THERE is a LAWSUIT HERE...... This company is deceptive beyond belief. They sold you software broken at go live events, and knew it! We reported the problems. They LIED to the government for ARRA promises, and the software was broken. They stifled the employee base. Laid us off. Fired us. God...... SUE THIS place! WE HATE MCKESSON PERIOD...... These things have been going on for years. It took a while, but I finally realized that it's all about lining their own pockets. Nothing to do with a SF-based culture that values ICARE or ILEAD. Nothing to do with serving our customers. Those of us with a sense of ethics just refuse to see it and fool ourselves into thinking that it's incompetence. No, it's really the worst kind of intentional corporate greed.
It's a culture that will pay retention bonuses of 40% yearly salary to keep favored people from leaving, while they help offshore the rest of their co-workers jobs to India. It took a lot to just walk away, but at least I walked away with my dignity. The ones remaining have no marketable skills or no integrity. Likely both.
